For cat owners in crisis and their families

If you own a cat and you’re struggling to keep it with you, we’re here for you.

Every owner we help is different and we assess each set of circumstances without judgement. We aim to never say no to someone in crisis – whether through homelessness or housing instability, relationship breakdown, domestic abuse or hospitalisation, or something else entirely.

What to expect

We’ll set up a call with you to ask a few simple questions to understand your unique situation and how best we can help.

Our support might involve ways to keep you and your cat together for as long as possible – through advice, support, signposting to other services and our cat food bank – or a foster placement for your cat(s) if that’s not possible. If your situation is urgent, we’ll act as quickly as we can to support you and find immediate care for your cat.

Refer someone you know or work with into our service

You can tell us about someone you know (a friend, family member or neighbour, for example) or work with (as a service user, client or patient) who might need our support by filling out our referral form.

We maintain strict confidentiality, working regularly with social services, the NHS and police to support cat owners in crisis they come across.
